| I would like to let any parents who have considered homeschooling or who are homeschooling in on my secret. Using this program as an independent homeschooler who was required to drag my kid in for standardized state tests I am happy to report that he scored in the advanced range in Math, Science and English and in the proficient range in social studies. I scoured the web for a resource to meet our homeschool needs and came upon 'time4learning.com'. Which covers material for grades k-8 and required very little supplementing. The program has sequential easy to follow graphic user interfaces, and kids find it easy to use, easy to understand and sometimes even, dare I say it,...fun. Plus it has a tracking program that produces reports and printable records for you that line up with state curriculum. So What does it cost. time4learning.com costs $19.95 for the first kid and $15.95 for any others per each. Because it is part of a subscription co-op type service it is affordable. Other similar online programs are far, far more expensive. Totally worth it. |
